Art has been an integral part of my life since childhood. I enjoy bringing beauty forth through color and form.

Painting on canvas and drums are distinctly different experiences for me - one a pure flow of my own creativity and the other a sacred conversation with the soul of the instrument to bring forth its own resonant images.

I paint what wishes to come forth in communication with the ceremonial item and involved spirit beings. There may be an already painted drum that speaks to you - available drums are listed in my shop.

For commissions, I paint following a very special intuitive process where I connect with your new instrument, your spirit, and visually bring forth the energies wanting to be born. My way as an artist is not to paint following a directive, but rather sense the energies present and allow them to pass through me. That means your instrument will be a delightful, beautiful surprise created just for you.
